Residents of the Onset Campground strive to be intentional in fostering gathering and creating a community of joy, hope, love, and peace. We invite others to join us for short or long stays on our lovely land at the Gateway to Cape Cod. To facilitate gatherings, we offer a variety of short- term accommodations available to rent for 1 to 30 nights, long-term rentals typically with 9 month or 12-month leases, and rentals of indoor and outdoor facilities for group gatherings on a one-time or recurring basis. Short-Term Individual & Family Overnight Accommodations
As a non-profit, religious organization, we are delighted to offer our short-term rental facilities to those who share in our mission and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Members of the Community of Christ church.
- People visiting family or friends who are residents of the campgrounds.
- People coming to the campgrounds to participate in an activity/activities on the campgrounds aligned with the mission of the Church and/or to connect with the Campgrounds community.
Alcohol and smoking are not permitted inside any of our rental units or facilities, or anywhere outside on church campground property.
Group Accommodations for Activities & Events
Our outdoor and indoor group spaces may also be rented to individuals or groups to host organized functions that align with our mission. Spaces may be rented for a one-time event or on an on-going or recurring basis, based on availability. Indoor spaces available are:
- Tabernacle
- Seats approximately 250 people in pews at full capacity
- Has a stage
- Nearby restroom facilities
- Youth Chapel
- Seats approximately 120 people in pews at full capacity
- Has a stage
- Connected restroom facilities
- Recreation Center
- Seats approximately 100
- Fireplace
- Tables and chairs available
- Connected restroom facilities
- May be rented with or without use of the kitchen
For outdoor group activities, spaces available to reserve are:
- Ballfield
- Tennis Court / Pickle Court
- Picnic gathering area with outdoor fireplace, seats approximately 50 at picnic tables
