Individual & Family Overnight Accommodations
The Onset Campground strives to be an intentional community, aiming to build a community of joy, hope, love, and peace. As a non-profit, religious organization, we are delighted to offer our short-term rental facilities to those who share in our mission and meet at least one of the following criteria: · 

  • Members of the Community of Christ church
  • People visiting family or friends who are residents of the campgrounds
  • People coming to the campgrounds to participate in an activity/activities on the campgrounds aligned with the mission of the Church and/or to connect with the Campgrounds community

If you are interested in renting a room in the Muddy Cove Retreat Center, a cabin or hutment, a unit in the Roberts House, or a campsite and meet at least one of the criteria listed above, please contact the Rentals Manager, Marilyn (Mal) Booth, at (508) 728-7721 or Marilynbooth@comcast.net to discuss availability and additional terms and conditions. Following that discussion, if you want to proceed with the rental, complete the appropriate reservation request form from the links below and submit it to Mal based on the instructions she provides.

Group Accommodations for Activities & Events
Our outdoor and indoor group spaces may also be rented to individuals or groups to host organized functions that align with our mission. Please see the “Facility Rental Request” below. Indoor spaces available are the Tabernacle (with nearby restroom facilities), the Youth Chapel, and the Rec Hall. For outdoor group activities, the Ballfield, the picnic gathering area, and the patio area behind the Rec Hall can be reserved. The charges for each facility are listed on the Request Form.

The camping area provides water and 110 volt electrical hook-ups for each site. Sites can accommodate mobile homes, trailers. The camping season starts May 1st
and ends October 15th.

Rates: Daily: $45.00
For the Week: $250.00
$750.00 Monthly and $3,000 per season

These sites can accommodate pop-up campers or tents. The camping season starts May 1st and ends October 15th. Listed above is a picture of where the tents would be setup - in the Trailer Area.

The Hutments are a renovation project under taken by some members of the community in order to provide low cost housing to our guests. Each of the four hutments have been adopted by a group and restored at their expense. Please click on the links below to see each of the hutments.
